Security Engineer (Flex/Remote)

Your Team

To prepare for the company’s upcoming acceleration, a new team named “Platform & Services” is created to support our needs for transformation. This team will provide Engineering services (such as Hardware, VM, Database, LB, Queuing, Orchestrator, etc) to all product teams in order to help them focus on their true mission, i.e. bringing value to their products and to our customers.

As efficient startups use now PaaS solutions to create their products, our product teams will use our internal platform to build high-end products as well.

The Platform team is organized into “Engineering Verticals”, each vertical delivering one or more infrastructure products in a specific field of Software Engineering. This team is also responsible for securing and guaranteeing the day-to-day execution of these services and keeping them up & running.

About the job

This Position can be based in Paris, Lille or Remote

Your specific team is the “Platform - Compliance & Security” (a.k.a. PCS) vertical, part of “Platform & Services”. Our team builds, go along with and monitors major security projects for Platform’s teams: identity management, end-to-end encryption, least privileges principle, governance & security policies are notions that sound to you ? Join Platform team and take your career one step ahead!

As our company is rapidly scaling, we need to adapt our security architecture. You will be responsible for implementing our security roadmap and monitoring every action in the field.

As a Security Engineer, you have a good general security knowledge. As a mindset, you avoid over-engineering, and always find a pragmatic approach when a technical problem arises. 

In addition, you will be part of the Engineering Guild at Scaleway.

Salary Range:

49 000 - 67 000 EUR per year
