About the job

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Instances team. Reporting to the VP of Compute Product Management, you will share the ownership of our Virtual Instances roadmap. At Scaleway, product managers discover and build great products to help achieve the vision of our company. They take part in every step of product development alongside engineers and designers. They also partner closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure their product roadmap remains aligned with the company’s objectives. Working hand-to-hand with the teams that design, create, deliver and operate virtual instances, you’ll contribute to the following strategical activities:

  • protect and scale the basics of Virtual Machine product vision to face our growth perspective and its consequent volume of usage,
  • strengthen synergy between our Virtual Instances and our Elements products eco-system, create features that drive user engagement and product stickiness,
  • define, launch and follow-up new high-end Virtual Instance offers that will establish Scaleway’s B2B Cloud market positioning,
  • define and launch the features, the tools, the metrics and the processes that will sustain the expansion across Europe of Scaleway’s Virtual Instances activity.

You’ll be responsible for establishing short-term and long-term goals, delivering on them, defining their success and measuring the result of your decisions. Your main users will be developers and we expect you to articulate complex technical concepts easily. You will also help us improve our practice, spreading the basics of PMing down around you. This is a unique opportunity to join Scaleway and help developers and companies to leverage a high-quality virtualisation service.
