To follow our fast growth, we are looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join our Californian office.

You will be working under the Customer Support Director supervision. You will be responsible for assisting our customers from product qualification to their implementation as well as participating in the qualification and internal testing of new solutions.

 Responsibilities:

Provide before sales support

  • Prepare and conduct onsite product demonstrations and customer tests,

  • Manage test and support equipment including product check, scheduling,

  • Assist sales team with technical inputs for bid answering,

  • Attending in dedicated Trade Shows and Conferences to support the Sales team.

After sales support

  • Online support (Desk, Team-Viewer, mail, phone, ...),

  • On site assistance for installation and commissioning,

  • Onsite or remote customer training,

  • Manage and Follow equipment return for tests and repairs.

Other internal duties

  • Technical document writing and reviewing (Documentation, Technical articles, test reports, etc.),

  • New products / firmware / software test and review,

  • Link between sales, customers and R&D to provide feedback about bugs and wished improvements.

 

This position will require frequent travel.

Job Location: Santa Ana, CA

Salary: Based on experience

Profil recherché

Requirements:

  • Education in geomatics or embedded systems engineering.

  • Solid experience (minimum 5 years), ideally with a knowledge of Navigation and Positioning as well as 3D imagery acquisition systems (land, air, marine).

  • Proficiency in measurement analysis tools (desired Octave / Matlab), and positioning and navigation systems (GNSS, inertial, Imaging, Lidar, etc.), as well as knowledge of geodesy.

  • You are able to work in close collaboration with several departments of the company but also independently with international clients.
