Our company
SantéVet is the market leader in pet health insurance in France and Belgium, with established operations in Germany and Spain. SantéVet was founded in 2003 in Lyon by Jérôme Salord, and now employs around 450 people in Lyon, Lille, Barcelona and Frankfurt. SantéVet offers a simple but comprehensive suite of pet health insurance solutions that are renewed annually and cover illness, accidents and prevention through three complementary brands: SantéVet, Bulle Bleue and Jim & Joe.

Your responsibility
As part of the product team, you will be the Product Owner responsible for leading one of the new domains/squads of the company. The main responsibilities for the role are the following:
- Have full ownership of 'your' product and working together with our partners, engineers, and (internal) stakeholders to identify problems and propose solutions
- Establishing priorities based on customer requirements, business implications, market, and technological insights, weighing the best compromise between flexibility and speed (ROI)
- Working with a team of engineers on a clear roadmap, stories, and feature development. Be able to launch fast MVPs, iterate and have continuous delivery. Teamwork spirit and leadership is key
- Contributing to the elaboration of product development roadmaps according to business priorities matching the company strategy
- Proactive contribution to the Product team, collaborating with the rest of peers on growing the team to succeed on the growth of the company
- Leading user research and having a data-driven mindset to be able to measure the solutions to implement and track them correctly to evaluate the results (KPIs)
- Be able to work with scalable API-based product solutions with the ERP and the rest of domains
Preferred experience
Your profile
- 4/5 years of higher education
- 4/5 years of demonstrable Product Owner or Product Management experience in tech/SaaS companies
- Fluency in spoken and written English (other European languages, especially French, are a huge plus)
- Experience with agile software development methodologies in close partnership with design and engineering colleagues
- You have a business mindset and are comfortable with growth and commercial issues
- Top-notch stakeholder manager with excellent communication abilities and the capacity to clarify difficult concepts
- Experience developing product capability and talent including coaching, mentoring, and building a talent pipeline.
- Knowledge on websites evolution, e-commerce or conversion funnels is a plus
- Preferably you have experience working in a regulated environment: Insurance/Insurtech Banking/FinTech
