In its journey to become the best FMCH company in and for the World, Sanofi CHC Supply Chain is reviewing its operating model to become even more customer centric, to improve Customer Service through E2E Supply Chain Accountability, to be more agile and to be able to cope with a very dynamic and competitive market.

In this context, Sanofi CHC Supply Chain is looking for a CHC Inventory Management Lead that will lead the global inventory management and governance for CHC GBU.

Main responsibilities

CHC Inventory Management Lead’s main responsibilities are to

  • Define Global Inventory Governance, Processes and Policy for the CHC GBU in collaboration with the Global Inventory CoE
  • Support Regions, Markets and Sites in inventory target settings and performance tracking
  • Manage the monthly inventory reporting to the CHC Global SC Head and the CHC Financial Head
  • Enable E2E Inventory management by providing the tools to monitor, project and analyze inventory
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation

His main activities and deliverables are

Gross-inventory monitoring

  • Drive the monthly inventory financial reviews with Top Management (Finance, IA, GSC)
  • Track & monitor the past and projected stock levels, analyzing gaps vs year-end budget target
  • Put the financial inventory level into perspective with all the components of the operational excellence (forecasts accuracy, customer service level, supply constraints, transportation, etc.)
  • Prepare the Y+1 inventory budget, T1&T2 exercises and validate them with the Regions, the Manufacturing Sites and the Top Management
  • Participate in the Strategic Plan definition for inventory, building a consolidated roadmap with concrete actions plans to reach the global financial and service objectives (5 years horizon)

Inventory optimization

  • Optimize the E2E inventory not compromising the service level, and support both Manufacturing Sites and Markets on implementing their actions plan
  • Define, control and monitor the E2E inventory policy for Manufacturing Sites, Markets and Distribution Centers, from Raw Materials to Finished Goods
  • Initiate and/or lead global projects/programs to enhance the E2E inventory visibility and performance
  • Implement a clear portfolio segmentation for inventory to support the business strategy on top priority products
  • Define processes to better manage SLOBs and reduce destruction costs
  • Explore opportunities to bring more agility in serving the patient/customers; improve the current inventory positioning strategy, investigate pooling possibilities, challenge the as-is inventory policy, etc.

Governance

  • Define a simple and clear governance with the Regions
  • Connect with Region SC, Manufacturing Sites, Finance teams, etc. to align and onboard all key stakeholders
  • Be the global point-of-contact when an inventory management expertise is required

ABOUT YOU

  • More than 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Finance
  • Background in SC (Finance background would be an advantage)
  • English fluent
  • Ability to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to manage data/figures
  • Able to easily cooperate transversally
