Job Description

The International Mobility Specialist is the subject matter expert on terms & conditions for international assignments at Sanofi, including international compensation and benefits packages, managing the compliance services such as immigration and tax services, managing international expatriates and permanent relocations and ensuring a great employee relocation experience by managing the performance of global vendors effectively.

Within the International Mobility team of the Corporate Reward & Performance Department, your role will be to manage autonomously the international assignments of our employees globally worldwide.  

Key responsibilities

  • You are the main point of contact within the Global Mobility team for the international assignees before, during, and at the end of assignment
  • You prepare and review the assignment packages and related calculations navigating among different types of contractual employment documents from different home countries
  • You have an advisory role with Business/HR/Reward & Performance partners to guide them towards the best international mobility choices in accordance with our policies
  • You coordinate the required services (tax, immigration) applying the mobility processes. You work very closely with multiple service providers and especially with our "Global Relocation Provider" in charge of the relocation of our expatriate employees. You manage their performance, the quality and timing of their service/deliverables
  • You participate to the compensation cycle review and update the mobility packages
  • You interact regularly with various stakeholders (payroll, SBS, HRBPs) for the international mobility lifecycle
  • You work closely and in an integrated way with the international mobility network abroad (USA, China, Germany)
  • You coordinate the various actions and services for the end of assignment (extension, return to home)
  • You also participate actively to transversal projects linked to international mobility with internal and external stakeholders
  • You build partnerships with other corporate functions

ABOUT YOU

Knowledge and skills

  • Professional experience in corporate functions within a multi-country role, preferably C&B or HR
  • Proven ability to work on multiple priorities in an organized manner
  • Excellent level of English and French. Knowledge of other languages ​​would be a plus
  • Very large autonomy and adaptability
  • Strong interest for numbers and calculations
  • Agile in communication and knows how to develop communication material
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven experience in an advisory role and assistance in decision making. Strong customer orientation
  • Understanding of people/data analytics
  • Interest for legal topics. Knowledge of immigration, payroll, social protection, taxation would be a plus
  • Resistance to increased activity periods
  • Good discipline and ability to work proactively
  • Very good relational skills
