JOB DESCRIPTION

This position reports to the Head of Finance Business Partner, within Biologic Platform, RDOI. Location in VITRY, France.

ROLE

This role is a key business partner in a multi-platform environment as well as multi products environment (Biologic platform: MAbs and Oncology).

This position allows a candidate to learn about the business operations while leveraging Finance knowledge.

You will demonstrate your capability to work transversely and will also assume a variety of responsibilities in the areas of Controlling, project, and problem solving.

JOB DUTIES AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Your team spirit will be key to succeed in your position and you will demonstrate your capability for full backuping in the Controlling team.

Forecasts / actual closing

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, process order follow-up and variance analysis
  • Support and participate in month end close which includes monthly accruals preparation, perform entries, provide visibility on performance to operational and management, track financial impact of improvement plans
  • Headcount reporting / HR support to controlling
  • Prepare and update analytical structure,Maintenance of financial master data (Cost centers)
  • Prepare month-end commentary / analysis and provide other relevant KPIs
  • Identify and report risks and opportunities
  • Responsible for data upload related to materials (HFM - TDBind, TM1)
  • Support forecast processes coordination and contribute to all financial forecast exercises in collaboration with key operational stakeholders
  • Track performance vs. LRP, budget and forecasts
  • Build and issue template easy to understand for individuals not familiar with Finance
  • Prepare management reporting & document for site Leadership team
  • Intersite recharge with R&D (structure)

Projects

  • Provide a strong Finance support to site teams regarding project management (AED, Capex, ROI, sensitive transaction)
  • Propose alternatives and support dynamic allocation of means across projects
  • Participate to economic studies

Internal control

  • SOA controls documentation in liaise with the compliance controller
  • Communicate on published procedures and their evolution to operational with easy synthetic documents
  • Assist and support with external / internal audits

PROFILE

Education / work experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Finance or related area
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is required (in industrial controlling preferred)
  • High level of comfort with financial tools (SAP, HFM, TM1,), advanced knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Athena appreciated
  • Good knowledge of industrial controlling methods
