Le site de Val de Reuil est le site de référence pour la production du vaccin contre la grippe (130 millions de doses produites chaque année) et la fièvre jaune, qui sont ensuite distribués à travers le monde. A la pointe de la technologie, le site réalise chaque année des investissements stratégiques permettant de répondre à une demande mondiale croissante de vaccins.

Under the orientation of MTECH Global Data Science and in close relationship of “Val de Reuil” (VDR) & “Marcy L’étoile” (MLE) site, we are looking for a Process Modeling expert to support process workstream in the design, validation and industrial routine / troubleshooting through modeling.

Your Mission

You will :

• Be responsible to deploy process modeling approach.
• Bring your process skills in modeling and control of biological systems based on biological and physical laws, differential equations, etc ... with the aim to better understand and better predict the behavior of our processes and thus to optimize productivity and design advanced process control strategies.
• Connect with process experts and data science teams to identify the best tools to leverage on for the delivery of the requested models.
• Facilitate understanding and benefits of systematic modeling for design of processes and related equipment.
• Educate MTECH Products workstream lead, project leaders, process / product expert, etc. with these new approaches.
• Participate / Facilitate communities of practice around the themes of modeling, simulation and process control.
• Present internally and externally topics related to Process Modeling activity.

The position is Located in the Val de Reuil MTECH Data Science (DS) team and in close collaboration with MLE MTECH Data Science (DS) team and Global Data Science team.

Your Profile

• Advanced scientific university degree (engineer, master, ...) or PhD
• 3 to 5 years applied on mathematics, modeling, simulation
• Experience in the biotechnology / pharmacy or other advanced industries
• Technical expertise in process modeling (Mathematics, Signal Processing, Automatism, Order Law , ... )
• Knowledge on Vaccines and biotechnology processes 
• Transversal management (animation of multidisciplinary teams)

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal with practical results of methods and approaches that have proven effective
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to take risks to achieve desired outcomes
• Ability to interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders, including key experts in their fields
• High level of autonomy
• Able to lead / animate networks, teams and experts
• Fluent in English (spoken & written)
