Job Description

To support our growth, we are recruiting a Clinical Development Specialist, based in Florida.

The Clinical Development Specialist will be responsible for creating and leading a strategy to drive the adoption and sustainable growth of our Epione® Interventional Oncology Robot.

You will be required to work with cross-functional teams such as, Sales, Clinical, R&D and Marketing to develop solutions for our sustained success.

We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative team players that will thrive in a fast start-up environment.

Your missions will be the following:

  • Drive clinical adoption growth:
    • Achieve monthly MBO (Management By Objectives) across key assigned metrics.
    • Be at all cases in Limited Customer Release (LCR) Epione® account(s) to support (set-up, breakdown, clinical case support).
    • Attends internal/external education meetings and reads appropriate professional journals to maintain and enhance skills and clinical competency.
    • Provides availability for assignments providing clinical support and training for Quantum Surgical products.
    • Clinically differentiates Quantum Surgical products vs competition along with clearly articulating value proposition (Clinical, Economic, Strategic).
    • Drive adoption and sustainable growth by leading training delivering best-practice education and case support.
  • Support Sales Team
    • Assist in potential Market Development meetings, quarterly business reviews, and building programmatic training materials.
    • Stays current on the latest clinical data relating to Interventional Oncology, competition, medical robotics, and Quantum Surgical products.
    • Educates the Sales Team on all of the current clinical data and new developments regarding Quantum Surgical products, including how these developments can provide clinical benefits and patient safety.
    • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Clinical, etc.).
    • Define, develop, and implement successful planning for and execution of Skills Labs, Customer Site Visit programs, Webinars, Quantum Surgical Robotics team training, remote, digital, and other special events.
    • Be the expert of Quantum Surgical Robotics products and deliver direct-to-customer intraprocedural technical support and advanced troubleshooting.
    • Support Quantum Surgical team build and maintain successful customer relations by developing efficient procedures and strategies.
    • Support commercial team in achieving YOY-FY sales revenue objectives
    • Tradeshow, convention, lab support.
  • Service the product
    • Install and set up the device on site (electrical safety tests, network configuration and functional and performance tests).
    • Carry out preventive maintenance (functional, safety and performance tests).
    • Carry out level 1 and 2 repairs (replacement of external and internal components).
    • Leads all in-service, training activities for new, existing, or potential accounts.
    • Work with other departments, especially the Quality team to escalate customer complaints.
    • Contribute to technical documentation according to the current standards.
    • Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to products and therapies. This is achieved by coordinating: one on one sessions, in-service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums.
    • Support clinical customers by serving as a specialist to physician and hospital partners for all Quantum Surgical technology.
    • Contribute to Quantum Surgical continuing education efforts by assisting in content development and creation (programmatic playbook build for IO Robotics in LCR).
    • Responsible for clinical support including set-up breakdown of conventions, meetings, clinical engagements.

Time travel is estimated to 75%.

Profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in clinical field or equivalent.
  • You have 3 years of clinical experience in the installation and maintenance of a medical device within a medical environment and in the training of physicians.
  • You have experience in the operating room and/or Interventional Radiology room.
  • You have a good knowledge and understanding of medical imaging.
  • You have effective communication skills, including ability to interact with medical staff, Sales, Marketing and Global Franchise Leaders.
  • You have effective teaching skills with ability to translate complex instructions clearly
  • You are able to work with precision, accuracy and high attention to detail
  • You have effective verbal and written presentation skills
  • You are able to analyze and recommend changes to training documents
  • You are able to construct an effective training program
  • RT, RN, PA, CCP, RA, ARNP or similar clinical credentialing preferred
  • You are able to work in all departments of the hospital including Radiology and operating room environment
  • You must maintain a valid driver’s licence.
  • You are proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

All new U.S. hires must be fully vaccinated (two weeks after receiving the final dose of a WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine) and any other booster requirements or subject to medical exemption.
