As the Director of Banking Operations you will be responsible for the management of the banking and fraud operations to ensure an efficient and compliant business environment.

You will manage a team of +30 talented people divided into 3 teams (AML, Back-Office and Project Management) and you directly report to the Chief Operations Officer. Considering stakes at play, you will also interact frequently with other C-levels and the founders.

Supervize back-office tasks to ensure low lead-time, high quality.
Prevent fraudulent activities in a cost-efficient and scalable way.
Improve customer satisfaction related to Operations activities.
Lead and develop a team of +30 Qontoers.


Profil recherché

  • Background: You are a 6+ year experienced manager with significant experience in operations/back-office and/or fraud management (AML-CFT/KYC). You have demonstrated the ability to manage high-volume and high-complexity in a fast growing environment. A previous experience in digital banking industry or fintech is highly recommended.
  • Leadership: You are a hands-on experienced executive with proven models to manage and grow contributors and managers; you know how to build long-term trust, you are very comfortable aligning and working with other teams (and break silos), and you naturally inspire ambition and excellence.
  • Continuous improvement: You deploy energy and determination to get better everyday with the aim to beat your “own score”; you drive your personal growth in a serious way and deepen self-awareness even if it means facing your own problems/failures. Being familiar with Lean Management is not mandatory but could be a real asset.
  • Tooling: You already got your hands dirty on typical tools to manage tickets flow, knowledge base or self-help such as Zendesk & Intercom for example.
  • Languages: You are fluent in both French and English.
  • Education: You have a degree from a leading university or masters program.
