We are currently looking for our next end-of-study interns (Bac +4/5), working from our office located in Paris.

The Mobile engineering team at Qonto currently has over 100 highly skilled engineers, from all over the world, working closely in cross-functional teams to shape our finance solutions. As they help craft the best polished mobile user experiences, each Mobile developer is empowered to challenge and influence the direction of the features they are working on.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As an iOS Engineering Intern at Qonto, you will

💡 Build innovative new features in a fast-paced environment by working on critical high-quality features (both architecture and UI) for our end users, with cutting-edge technologies while keeping a high level of code quality and UI/unit tests across our app, as well as maintaining our strong engineering culture.

📈 Help scale our robust mobile codebase and solve complex problems by participating in ongoing initiatives (app modularization, migration to compose, build time reduction, and many more)

🎙 Participate in the discussions on the strategy & vision for our product by being fully involved and integrated into our cross-functional organization (Tech, Product & Design)

📖 Learn and grow by getting continuous feedback to improve your skills (both technical and on your ways of working) and opportunities (management is not the only way to go up in the ladder, we also have a full career path dedicated to technical expertise)

💻 Our stack

🍏 iOS

Our app is 100% written in Swift and based on MVP and Coordinators architecture. Our CI is composed of Gitlab, Firebase (distribution, Test Lab), Bitrise, and Sonar.

A high focus on tech quality is done :

Using Clean Code / SOLID principles

Investing effort on tests: 10000+ units tests, 700 UITestsSnapshot tests

Following a component approach, using our design system.

🤝 Your future Lead

Your Lead will be Thomas, iOS team lead in the Local Payments cross-functional team.

His background?

After a School of engineering (Insa Rennes), Thomas jumped into the mobile development world in 2010. He worked for 7 years on a software agency moving from an iOS developer to a mobile architect role. Then, joined a startup for 2 years and finally became a Qontoers 3 years ago located in Rennes, Brittany, the best place for Crepes. Thomas likes craft code and many other stuff. Hobbies? DIY, the sea, cooking and eating. He recently started a dad career being trained by Eloane, his 2-year-old child.

What does he bring to the team?

Together with the other Mobile leads and heads of (Guillaume & Sylvain), Thomas continuously improves the team’s operating system to reduce waste, reach top quality in our product, and grow team members towards proficiency.

You are comfortable with English

You are looking for your end-of-study internship in Paris

You are product-minded: You are committed to building a great experience for our users

You have some experience coding in Swift or building native iOS applications (from a school or a personal project, a previous internship etc)

You understand the principles of why and how to test code

You are curious, open-minded, and eager to learn

(Please note that you will need a Mac with Xcode installed, as our technical exercise will require you to code in Swift)
