As a member of the Italian Team, directly reporting to Mariano, our Country Manager Italy, and with a dotted line to Marion, our Head of Marketing, your mission will be to develop our awareness and acquisition in Italy, which is our biggest international market.

You will manage a team of local experts in the fields of events, content, social media and marketing to adapt and localize our global strategy for the Italian market. You will work in close collaboration with the central teams (marketing & comms as well as acquisition).

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As the Marketing Lead Italy 🇮🇹 at Qonto, you will:

  • Help us grow brand awareness and position Qonto as the top-of-mind business banking & finance solution for freelancers and SMEs.
  • Be in charge of defining the voice of Qonto in Italy and coordinating its strategy & execution across our local channels, including website, contents & social media.
  • Be the owner of our brand in Italy across all our communications channels and will directly lead local PR & brand initiatives.
  • Manage two junior marketing managers for awareness (events, partnerships, social & content) and acquisition (affiliation, ads experiments, influencers campaigns) topics as well as two content managers (SEO, product content).
  • Collaborate with our different global teams (brand & comms, acquisition, partnerships, revenue growth) to make sure that our overall marketing plan for the Italian market is relevant and consistent with our brand platform.
  • Track, analyse and report our results to make sure the right investments are made.
  • Work closely with our Paris based local teams (focus on partnering with each country’s marketing manager) to ensure consistency between marketing localisation.

Profil recherché

  • Experience: You have +5 years of relevant experience in marketing, PR, communication roles (having a previous experience in a start-up/scale-up is a plus) and you have already managed a team of at least 3 people.
  • Marketing expert: You display an excellent understanding of marketing trends and you are able to influence and work cross-functionally within multiple internal teams and external agencies.
  • Autonomous: You have strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Mastery: You are creative but also a good strategist who picks up the right point of view.
  • Great team player: Thanks to clear written and verbal communication skills, you love solving problems with your teammates but you are also capable of working well with agencies and freelancers.
  • Languages: You are a native Italian speaker and you are fluent in English, French would be a nice to have.
  • Education: You have a Master’s or equivalent degree in Marketing.
  • Location: You are living in Milan or willing to relocate.
