As a country manager, your role will be to develop Qonto’s business in Germany from scratch. You will be a real “all-rounder”, and own all the business verticals.

As part of the management team, you will be responsible to develop the business but also assemble a team of super talented people. Your role will be key to help Qonto become the online B2B banking market leader in Europe!

You will report directly to our VP International, Simone and manage a team of 3.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a Country Manager Germany at Qonto, you will

  • Drive the country performance in each business function including operations, sales & marketing, customer service, and all other aspects of the business including financial and legal topics.

Product localization:

  • Work closely with our Global Product team to analyze and to identify current features we should keep and adapt the ones that are relevant to the German market
  • Ensure successful local planning and the execution of the global strategy
  • Manage our content trans-creation to make sure Qonto sounds ‘local’ in Germany

Acquisition & revenue generation:

  • Be a close partner with the Global Growth team to make sure Qonto has a great traction in Germany to maximize MRR, using SEO/SEA, affiliation, referral, branding campaigns, and events
  • Identify new business development opportunities within the market

Partnerships:

  • Source, choose, and drive local partnerships to address German businesses needs

Public relations:

  • Be the local spokesperson of Qonto in Germany and maximize our media coverage

Management:

  • Build, manage and develop the Qonto Germany team (based in Paris)
  • Work with core fonctions such as Legal, Mkt, Product, Customer Suces to ensure the implementation of the strategy

Profil recherché

  • Experience: You have +4 years of experience as a top performer in the B2B SaaS industry, or in a major digital player, or in a top tier consulting firm or the financial services industry.
  • Deep understanding of the German market: You know why a service such as Qonto is needed and the value it will bring to German companies. Plus, you have a strong local network, that will support Qonto’s success in your market.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You have an analytical spirit and you are also hands-on. In addition, you have strong business development skills.
  • Communication skills: You are strong oral and written communication skills that help you communicate with several teams.
  • Languages: You are 100% fluent in German as well as in English. French is a plus.
  • Education: You have a Master’s degree.
    You are willing to travel up to 40% of the time in Germany (from Paris)

Déroulement des entretiens

  • A 60 min interview with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers to better understand your career plan and answer any of your questions
  • A 60 min interview with your future manager to create a strong alignment on what they’ll expect from you, and tell you more about their way to operate
  • An exercise to evaluate your hard skills and understand how you see the world
  • An interview with future team members to discuss your exercise and help you project yourself in the company
  • A Final interview with the manager of the department and/or one of our C-level/Founders
