As a Brand Design Manager (website) in Qonto’s very international environment, you will help cultivate our strong design culture. As part of our Design Studio, you will work with talented designers, who are all passionate about and skilled in solving conception/design problems.

You will join a large design studio of 60+ talented designers, collaborate with a variety of profiles and expertise (Product Designers, UX Writers, System Designers, etc...), and contribute to building an international brand with ever-evolving challenges with your team.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Brand design Manager at Qonto, you will

• Manage a team of 6 to 10 brand designers with strong expertise in web design

• Coordinate with Product designer leads and engineers to define a vision and strategy for the website

• Drive your team to help us meet business objectives

• Mentor, pair, and delegate work to foster the professional and technical growth of your teammates

• Run 1o1s and quarterly progress reviews to provide regular feedback to your team members

• Help build a collaborative, diverse and supportive team culture and make it shine

• Run interviews to hire new team members

• Visual delight: make sure the website is creative, animated and interactive

• SEO: Make sure it can handle hundreds of thousands of visitors with good SEO within a year

🤝 About your future manager

Your manager will be Mathieu, our Design Director.

His path ? Worked for different industries and companies : advertisements, start-up, and CAC 40 firms, developing skills in creating business impact, brand scaling, sharing knowledge and transforming brand organization. Now, he is leading a growing team of 70 people at Qonto with the help of his managers Marina, Carla, Julien, & Mélanie.

What he can bring to the team ? Upon joining Qonto, Mathieu created a real collaborative team from scratch making the Design team going from 6 people to 70 within the past 2 years. His scope comprises Brand Design, Product Design, UX Writing & Design System for all the branches of Qonto (FR,IT, DE, ES). He will be the perfect manager to help you grow in your understanding of UX Writing, Brand Design, Design System & Management.

• Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience with a proven track record of designing large-scale brands

• Leadership skills: You are motivated to grow in management and have demonstrated your ability to develop people by mentoring advanced designers and apprentices

• Communication skills: You are able to pitch and convince high-level stakeholders and break silos

• Mastery: You possess a strong design acumen and can guide other teams in the use of a design system.

• Languages: You are fluent in English. French is a plus.
