LOCATION: Anderlecht, near Brussels, Belgium.

DATES: May or June 2023 (12 months)

MISSION:

As Customer Development Specialist Benelux you will support the Customer Development Manager in leveraging & defining the annual promotional budget and Investments by account for the Benelux.

You will be part of the Commercial Benelux team & will report directly to the Customer Development Manager.

You will contribute in driving the annual sell-out budget by accurate analysis indicating pro-actively opportunity & risks. You are in the driver’s seat when it comes to internal & external coordination of  the Coop/ trade activities & seeking for operational excellence. Responsibilities

Coordination Coop/ trade activities

  • Set- up/ follow-up briefing documents to retailer
  • Follow up / support on different Coop elements (samples/ GWP’s/ other trade tools/)
  • Inform & gather all info from internal stakeholders
  • Follow-up on weekly Coop/ trade targets vs actuals

Coop implementation

  • Follow-up Coop budget and Coop P&L
  • Set-up & follow-up briefings + scripts COOP
  • RTN  / PO handling of COOP
  • Challenge/ check proposal on door level received from retailer
  • Coop consumer follow-up (BTL)
  • Planning & follow-up samples & GWP:  Coop related/ Retail, E-com & indeps

Reporting & analysis

  • Sell- out analysis per retailer; sell-out vs budget, coop/ trade slot performance, launch performance 
  • Follow-up on dashboards and databases
  • Follow up on retailer competition analysis: category retailer activations (online- offline )
  • Monthly follow up on BTL expenses vs PUIG
  • Pricing tool tracker update: competition

BDG trade support

  • Prep & support CPS GWP/ Samples
  • Support budget V1/ V2 & follow-up by month / LE

Prepare internal & retailer meetings

  • Support on preparation COOP retailer meetings transferring figures to impactful information driving opportunities & calculated risk
  • Support on preparation internal meetings ( ea business reviews/ cycle/ sales meetings )

Ad-hoc support commercial team in peak period

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master of Science in Management / Marketing Management/ International Business
  • Experience in cosmetics or FMCG, preferred at a A-Brand Player
  • You are fluent in French / English, Dutch is a pre
  • Strong & well developed Excel skills ( Excel assessment will be part of the recruitment procedure)
