To support its exponential growth in DACH & Nordics, Powell Software is recruiting a Partner Development Manager.
We are looking for a professional who combines strong sales skills to uncover partners’ needs and goals to best position Powell Software’s value proposition as well as jointly engage with end customers to close strategic deals. We’re looking to hire a strong communicator and storyteller who can develop compelling presentations that illustrate Powell Software’s business value to different departments and management levels. A willingness to learn and being partner and customer-focused is critical.
What you’ll be responsible for:
The Partner Development Manager (PDM) is responsible for recruiting new Powell Software partners as well as managing our existing and preferred partners in the region.
The Partner Development Manager will research industry and customer needs to identify where Powell has gaps in its portfolio of partners to meet customer needs.
The PDM engages with the highest level of management building trust and developing joint partner business plans defining Go-To-Market strategies, driving the implementation of the strategy, and orchestrating relationships between the partner’s technical, sales, and marketing teams to achieve Powell’s sales targets.
The PDM will oversee the implementation of our partner program in DACH to optimize the sales impact of our partner ecosystem and support our growth in the region.
Strong engagement with the sales leadership team of the region is expected in this results-driven role.
Skills we’re looking for include:
Ability to understand partners’ business needs and models while sharing Powell Software’s value proposition
Consistent track record of navigating within large and mid-market organizations
Proven negotiation and closing skills
Ability to develop senior-level relationships quickly and effectively
Ability to identify and manage a pipeline of partner opportunities at various sales stages
Demonstrate a genuine interest in SaaS/IT solutions and Powell Software’s solutions
Be an enthusiastic learner to stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies
Ability to develop a trusted relationship with technology partners (i.e., Microsoft) and solutions/services partners in a shared success model with global or local system integrators, managed services providers, and distributors.
Ability to recruit, onboard, and enable new partners to fuel our growth
A self-starter spirit willing to operate both strategically and tactically
Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
