We are looking for a Business Development Manager to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting specific KPI’s on Pipeline Generation. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects, from first contact until you schedule the actual meeting and detect a Qualified Opportunity. If you are motivated and result-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will boost sales through scheduling qualified meetings and Pipeline Contribution and play an important part for our long-term business growth.

•Deskresearch, add Intelligence on prospects

Add Sphere of Influence/Political Landscape

Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

Contact potential clients through calls, emails and Social Media

Present Powell Software to potential clients over the phone

Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate solutions

Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects

Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Managers

Report to the BDR manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Work with the country Sales Lead

Stay up-to-date with new products/services and trends in the market

Required Skills and Experience
Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager, Inside Sales or similar rôle for at least 1 years (through internships)

Some experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

No fear of clear Objectives and KPI’s in achieving # of meetings and conversion into Pipeline

Some Experience with CRM software

Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

Some knowledge on IT, Software in specific

Basic Understanding of sales performance

Excellent communication skills

Ability to ask Open Questions and how to handle/answer Objections

Ability to deliver engaging story-telling over the phone

BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
