Pony is expanding to several European countries including Belgium, Germany, Italy and Portugal, and is looking for a highly talented individual to lead this effort.

What you will do

• Introduce pony to new cities in new countries; obtain authorisations, navigate city and national regulatory structures; respond to and mitigate local concerns as they arise; develop positive working relationships with government and community stakeholders

• Address local concerns; negotiate with elected officials, agency regulators and other stakeholders; and advocate for pony to achieve favorable operating conditions as needed

• Ensure smooth launches in new cities and ensure that the company remains responsive to local concerns as they emerge

• Engage with a wide range of public stakeholders including representatives of Law Enforcement, mobility and citizens associations to contribute to pony’s positioning as a long term partner and a thought leader on mobility and urban issues

The ideal candidate

• Minimum 3 years experience, ideally in sales
• Real passion for closing (a lot of) deals
• Willing, excited and flexible to travel to European cities on a very regular basis
• Comfortable navigating bureaucracy, interacting with different stakeholders
• Keen interest in urban mobility and technology
• Eager to succeed no matter what (no excuse policy)
• Willing to impress
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in German, Italian or Portuguese is a big plus 🇪🇺
• French not required
• RFP & lobbying experience not required
