Plum was launched in June 2019, with the primary mission of dusting off the kitchen furniture universe. Our product range has since expanded and now allows us to create furniture for the whole house (kitchen, dressing room, bathroom, living room, etc.).

Our ambition is to create the first reference platform for interior design. A creative brand that inspires its community, guides them in their renovation and arrangement projects, and selects the materials to make them a reality.

After a first fundraising, and in a context of strong growth (several million annual turnover reached in 2020), our Operations team is expanding and we are looking for a Netsuite Software Manager to join us.

YOUR ROLE

As Production & Quality Specialist at Plum, you will lead the relationship with our suppliers and coach them to reach high quality and flawless customer experience..

MISSIONS

As part of your missions, you will:

Establish a trustfull relationship

  • Ensure our supplier inform us “spontaniously” of all good & ugly news

Manage production and ensure good service level & product quality

  • Respect of production & delivery lead times
  • On time in full delivery
  • Production & inspection reliability

Build the production & quality process improvement roadmap

  • Analyse the root cause of our process related quality & experience issues
  • Identify process improvements to tackle them
  • Map the current and future roadmap to reach higher quality & efficiency

Challenge suppliers improvement program (in light of the previous roadmap)

  • Ensure they run an efficient improvement program regarding : quality, cost & capacity
  • Identify best practices and promote them to other suppliers”

Control costs

  • Get a clear vision of their production costs and margins
  • Monitor raw materials costs and their evolution
  • Find win / win situation to impriove costs and share the benefits

Understand and monitor supplier risks

  • Build & update a risk map (short & long term)
  • Define KPIs associated and monitor them

You will be part of the Operation team, working directly with François-Xavier, our Head of Operations.


Profil recherché

The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in transversal management and industrial process improvement, communicates well, never gives up and easily motivates others to reach for the best.

You have:

  • A good understanding of industrial & supply chain processes

  • An operational background in process & quality improvement

  • A good knowledge of products similar to ours

  • A successful experience of third party management

  • A dynamic, curious personality, full of creativity

  • A customer centric mindset

  • Good communication skills

  • A rigorous, organized, and solution oriented working methodology

  • An ability to get the broad picture

  • A care for details and finished work

  • A strong desire to take part in an entrepreneurial adventure within a creative and community brand

  • Fluency in both French and English
