Do you organize special dinners with your friends in order to run shadow “customer reserach”? You can’t imagine a life without a smartphone - except for a visit to your favorite roller-coaster? Do you give feedbacks to Slack Team in order to optimize their product? Do you always plan your vacations for months, using Google Drive spreadsheets and datavizualisation, in order to choose the right destination? Do you spend hours talking with your friend about amazing experience you had with this brand, and the crappy experience you had with this other brand? Did you try to convince Siri to do bad, bad things? Have you ever dreamt about being a rock star?

WHAT COULD YOU DO?

As the Head of Design in the playgrnd, you will be in charge of your clients and your team happiness, while bringing genuine consulting & design to generate performances & positive impact on human, environnement and society.

DETAILED MISSION

With the help of the team, you support your clients in the design of their services, digital products & new businesses, in order to generate value and impact.

HEAD OF DESIGN

• Orchestration of all the works related to design missions (service, experience, business, product…)

• In charge of supervising the design process (setup, coaching, coordination, reviews, approvals…)

• Deployment of methodologies (systemic approach, eco-conception, human centered, impact & business oriented)

• Leader and referent of the Design activity

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Detection of potential opportunities while supporting our clients in their design & innovation strategy

• Generation of new leads

• Supervision and coordination of RFPs

CONSULTING & DESIGN

With the help of your team,

• Consulting & support to your clients regarding design activities and challenges to be solved

• Research (User/Customer/System research), including field exploration, interviews, trends watching, data analysis, personae, journey & experience mapping,

• Strategy including benchmark, market studies, value propositions, business models, and business cases

• Product/Service/Business Design

• Workshop facilitation (collective intelligence),

• Product management, user stories, backlog, product roadmaps, KPIs tracking, growth strategies

METHODOLOGIES & CULTURE ENHANCEMENT

• Contribution to the Design knowledge of the team

• Contribution to methodologies optimization

• Have a constant watch on market trends, and spot best practices

• Participation to dedicated conferences as a speaker

• Articles writing

MANAGEMENT & COACHING

• Mentoring of the design team members

• Supervision of the design team

• Talent acquisition

This offer is related to a full time position, both based in Paris & remote. Since we work with international clients, and our team is multicultural, english is mandatory. This job may require travels in France and Europe.
