Descriptif du poste

At Picnic, we’re revolutionizing the way people buy groceries with our innovative and sustainable app-only service. We do almost everything in-house, developing cutting-edge technologies and processes to ensure we continue to grow rapidly without missing a beat. If you’re a passionate Commercial Analyst, we’re offering you the opportunity to join the diverse team at our Paris office and make a real difference in our scaleup environment.

🥜 In a nutshell

First things first: The role of an Analyst at Picnic is versatile and changes based on your project and team. You might be a project manager, inhouse-consultant, or data scientist. You might become an expert on all things automation, private label, or people systems. We have Analysts in all teams and you can grow by collaborating on complex projects, moving into different teams, or even to different countries.

❓ What does that mean for your application? We’ll consider you for the general Analyst position with a Commercial interest, or any other interest you want to share with us. The projects you’ll work on and the team you’ll join will be agreed upon during the assessment process.

Now, let’s cut to the chase: As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll connect the data coming from our app with our assortment by forecasting prices or looking at promotions, whilst taking seasonality into account. You’ll be part of the Commercial team and will collaborate closely with our category managers and other relevant commercial stakeholders in France, the Netherlands, and Germany.

Some of the projects our Commercial Analysts currently work on:

  • Review and update the application assortment
  • Calculate and steer on the margin
  • Set up operational tools to monitor key metrics

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Enable commercial excellence by approaching exciting challenges with a holistic mindset
  • Drive improvement projects from kick-off until the final whistle
  • Build and optimize models for process improvements
  • Communicate effectively with different teams to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions
