About the role:

We are looking for a Commercial Strategy Manager to support our new business growth across Europe and in the US. You will be part of the CEO office team, report to the VP of Sales, will work closely with the Commercial Directors and the Revenue Operations team in each of the markets we operate.

While this is not a technical role, a solid understanding of the different components of our sales stack and data visualization and reporting tools is important. You will be supported by our BI team and have access to all key data sets to generate insights and lead strategic projects to support our new business growth plan.

The role requires analytics skills, and an ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with the C-Suite and the wider sales organization. We are a fast growing company and the ideal candidate will have a growth-hacking mindset with the opportunity to review and improve existing processes as well as implement new ones. You will play a significant role in our International Expansion understanding the capabilities required across our different Go-to-market teams.You will also provide support to each of our Commercial Directors across Europe and in the US to maximize their performance and hit their revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the VP of Sales with trends in insights to drive actionable plans from our analytics and reporting suite analytics and reports on our performance
  • Engage with the Commercial Directors and the Revenue Operations team to drive alignment and focus on strategic initiatives
  • Attend and contribute to the weekly commercial leadership meeting, and weekly 1:1 with the commercial directors
  • Continuously mine for and identify trends and insights to share best practices and identify opportunities to improve
  • Leverage weekly dashboards and reports to review our performance, provide visibility to the leadership team and suggest improvements
  • Developing and executing initiatives designed to optimize sales team efficiency and productivity
  • Be the right hand to the VP of Sales, as needed, on any initiatives, meetings, and activities as needed, incl. Board Meeting preparations, Sales Team strategic offsites, and any other relevant format

Strategy and stakeholder management:

  • Establish and own a process of regularly generating hypotheses, testing them via controlled experiments, which result in learnings for the business (stop / start / keep / incubate type recommendations)
  • Working closely with the Revenue Operations team to improve our new hire onboarding and accelerate their time to impact
  • Project manage new initiatives from strategy to execution, demonstrating cross-functional leadership and collaboration

Requirements:

  • MBA preferred or Postgraduate Master's Degree in Marketing/Business Analysis
  • 4+ years of experience in a top-tier consulting company, ideally with exposure to SaaS, FinTech, and/or B2B business models
  • Scale-up experience with a Revenue-focussed team is highly desirable
  • Well-versed in Sales and Commercial topics
  • Naturally curious and driven by solving problems by balancing precision and pragmatism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail with regard to project management and analysis
  • Based in Paris and fluent in English, French would be a plus
