The Product Team:

The Product team is the arm of OVRSEA’s vision: our tools will revolutionize international freight transport!

As discoverers of solutions in a market that is not very digitalized, our PMs provide our customers with new solutions for transport management and enable our Ops teams to be the most efficient on the market.

What is it like being a PM at OVRSEA?

Product Managers are autonomous and intervene at all levels within OVRSEA: they are operational on their entire perimeter and also provide a strategic vision for the quarterly roadmaps.

As a PM at OVRSEA, you will have the opportunity to work on our 2 products: Hermes (for our external customers) and Atlas (our internal product) with their respective specificities and challenges.
Our product orga is a product for us: we contribute to improve it every month with a retrospective and a training session organized by a PM.

Finally, we have the privilege of building a product in a market that is not very digitalized and complex. We are therefore pioneers in the field and the challenge is extremely interesting!

Your assignments

Strategic vision & Roadmap:

  • Feed the Product Strategy with insights gathered (user interviews, fieldwork, data, competitive intelligence…)
  • Identify and prioritize with the Head of Product the projects for the next quarters
  • Contribute to the improvement of our processes and our recruitments (PM, Product Designer)

Product Discovery:

  • Discover and prioritize the hottest issues through frequent user interviews (user research, participation in demos, customer calls)
  • Identify behaviors, trends and blocking points by analyzing our data (Heap, Metabase)
  • Follow the news of our sector, our competitors and product practices

Product Delivery:

  • Convert the product roadmap into clear, concise and Pareto optimized projects (80% impact with 20% effort)
  • Work with Engineers & Designers to build the best product solutions
  • Monitor the performance of our features and improve them (or remove them if necessary)
  • Inform our users of new products and spread the product culture at OVRSEA!

The challenges for the team in 2022

  • Boost our growth in large accounts by tackling their specific problems (mass tracking, collaboration with their partners, detailed reporting, API integrations, etc.)
  • Support the opening of OVRSEA’s international offices and operate end-to-end transportation
  • Build products for our future Procurement and Customs departments
  • Accelerate our strategic tracks for supply chain management (TMS, stock vision, suppliers, Net Zero Initiative)

But also, many challenges for our organization: doubling our workforce, co-constructing our annual strategy, industrializing our User Research, reinforcing our UX & Design standards… and many others!

Profil recherché

  • You have between 0 and 4 years of experience as a PM
  • You are used to working in a startup environment in a “test and learn” mode
  • You are highly organized, rigorous and autonomous
  • You have managed and/or participated in projects with demanding stakeholders, where you had to reconcile conflicting needs
  • You have an appetite for design with a sensitivity to UX and a strong user empathy!
  • You are fluent in French
