About the Role:

As the Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Ogury, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and execution of our data science, analytics, and insights initiatives. You will lead, develop, and grow a team of talented data scientists and data analysts and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop native AI products, improve performance of existing algo offerings, and develop data-driven insights and advanced analytics solutions that enhance our existing products and services.

What you will be doing

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the data science team, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Be hands-on in the development of our data, ML, and AI products, including contribution to code and infrastructure.
  • Drive the development and execution of data science initiatives that deliver tangible business value and competitive advantage.
  • Oversee the design of the real-time algorithms and optimization models that drive advertiser outcomes and operate in large scale, low latency contexts
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions and models to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the data science roadmap and priorities, ensuring alignment with Ogury’s product strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent, building a high-performing and diverse team.
  • Provide guidance and support for professional development and skill enhancement of team members.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions and models to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Utilize machine learning, statistical analysis, and other quantitative techniques to solve business problems and drive decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data science and apply them to enhance Ogury's capabilities.
  • Partner with product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to integrate data science capabilities into products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve user experience, drive revenue growth, and optimize processes.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization.

    • About you

  • Experience within the AdTech or MarTech industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in data science or analytics roles, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques, with experience applying them to real-world problems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala, and familiarity with data manipulation and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, drive innovation, and translate business requirements into actionable data science solutions.
