About the role

As a Data Engineer in the Analytics team you’ll work in an international team, exploiting Ogury’s diverse data to extract insights and make them available on different platforms accessible internally and externally. You’ll solve real business problems and face computational challenges due to the large diversity and size of our data. In contact with other roles

What you will be doing

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for extraction, transformation and distribution of data.
• Identify, design and implement improvements / automation for optimizing data processing, storage and availability, while maintaining scalability.
• Manipulate, process and extract values from large dissociated data sources.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology (stand up, weekly..)
• Write detailed and precise documentation of your work.

About you

• Degree in computer science, information systems
• Strong interest in mathematics, statistics, data science
• Experience in SQL (query optimization), Cloud Computing (AWS preferably), Scripting (Python, Bash) as well as Big Data Frameworks such as Spark and Scala.
• Airflow, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, Terraform knowledge are a plus
• Sense of ownership, creativity and good communication skills
