Who are they?

NUMA is a digital school for managers and leaders from all horizons, from startups to large corporations.

We create and distribute a new virtual class format in B2B that we call Workshops. These Workshops target key skills needed to succeed, taking an ultra-concrete and no-bullshit approach. They are facilitated by our team of coaches who have significant professional experience on the subjects addressed.

To match the success of our format, we are looking to grow our team with a Project Manager post opening for September 2022! In addition to accompanying our French clients, this Project Manager will handle our increasing requests for international training programs.

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for deploying our virtual classes for our clients, maximizing client and learner satisfaction as well as our profitability objectives. The key activities are:

  • Creating and managing client relationships (project kick-offs, REX and other rituals/communication)
  • Proactively recommend pertinent ways to improve the project quality and ensure a successful deploiement
  • Should a problem arise on the project: react in a prompt and analytical manner. Know how to reinforce the client’s trust in NUMA, investigate problems and contact the right internal stakeholders (Project Director, KAM, Sales, CPO, etc.)
  • Onboard external coaches to the context and specificities of the project
  • Ensure the engagement of learners by proposing communication supports
  • Identify the best ways to deploy the training and handle the back office tasks (registrations, scheduling, attendance sheets, etc.)
  • Pilot the risks, quality and prepare upsell propositions
  • Coordinate between all the different stakeholders

The Project Manager is supported in his/her tasks by the Project Director who will accompany the Project Manager during difficult/complex situations with clients (ManoMano, ContentSquare, Orange, Leroy Merlin, Sanofi…), as well as ensuring that the Project Manager’s own skill set continues to grow.

As we are a remote-first company, our team members can work from anywhere in mainland France.

Preferred experience

Your skill set?

  • You excel in client management: You know how to have a discussion with clients as a partner: asking the right questions, listening, reformulating, explaining your convictions, handling delicate situations, driving the relationship, reassuring when needed… You know how to handle complicated situations by proposing relevant solutions and reassuring the client.
  • You are autonomous and organized: You can manage 10-15 projects at the same time with a diversity of stakeholders (clients, coaches, participants, team members) and you know when is the right moment to ask for help. You organize your week in a transparent, proactive and autonomous fashion both when you are working in the office and remotely.
  • You are analytical and proactive: You know how to take a step back and have a macro vision on your projects. You go beyond the facts to come up with actions to take, key learnings and conclusions. You know how to put your effort in the right place to deliver value and you control your effort/impact ratio.
  • You are bilingual in French and English
  • You have opinions and convictions on education and corporate training: You have been following the EdTech world for awhile, you like to learn new things, you like business cases about digital leaders or stories about management and leadership.

Your background?

  • You have between 2 and 5 years of professional experience
  • You have previously worked in a sector like consulting, product or education with key accounts
  • Your experiences will complement the NUMA Team and bring value

Recruitment process

  2. A remote interview with our Head of Customer Success (~1H)
  3. A case study to prepare and role play during a second remote interview with the Head of Operations and a Project Director (~1H)
  4. A final remote interview with the CEO (~1H)
