We are a vertically integrated manufacturer and our products are made at facilities located in Quebec, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.

GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION 

As a Control Systems Engineer, you’ll design, maintain, and improve technical systems and machine controls to meet today’s standards and drive future innovation. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems—developing new solutions, upgrading existing ones, and resolving technical challenges. This role is ideal for someone with a growth mindset who thrives in problem-solving and embraces continuous learning.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Design and improve Human Machine Interfaces, interactive displays, and machine control systems.
  • Develop new control methods to boost uptime, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Drive continuous improvements in networks, security, traceability, and Industry 4.0 digitalization projects.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize PLCs, electrical/control systems, and process controls.
  • Collaborate across teams—including cybersecurity, engineering, production, and maintenance—to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative solutions.
  • Create documentation, training, and reporting tools to support operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ?

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Allen-Bradley, Siemens and AVEVA System Platform
  • Knowledge of drives, Allen Bradley, Parker and Siemens a benefit.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and Autocad Electrical
  • Good information systems and database skills
  • Ability to learn equipment, processes, products and standards
  • Needs to be hands-on
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively handle several projects simultaneously
  • University degree along with 5+  years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Industrial Electrician background a benefit
