To support this rapid adoption of the marketplace model, and take an active part in its growth, Mirakl is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel – Product/Ecosystem Compliance, based in Paris or Bordeaux.

Missions :

Reporting to the Head of Legal based in Paris, with two other Legal Counsels, you will:

• be the legal partner for Worldwide Connect and Ecosystem team
• be the first point of contact for all IP and Product/Ecosystem globally

Concretely, you will:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements to meet business and legal requirements, including Partnership agreements, SaaS agreements, group purchasing agreements, business associate agreements, distribution, confidentiality agreements and requests for proposals
• Define the legal frawework of an AppStore around marketplaces solutions
• Negotiate with key customers, partners, suppliers and resellers
• Assist in the management of contract documentation flow, approvals, reporting and archiving consistent with internal processes and legal guidelines
• Build a strong cross-functional relationship with teams throughout the organization such as Product development, Engineering, Security, Finance, and Ecosystem
• Actively counsel the senior sales and field finance staff members on commercial law, regulations, fraud & abuse, privacy (including data privacy) and related topics
• Develop creative and compliant solutions to resolve complicated business challenges and customer disputes
• Be in charge globally of the legal aspects of any matters related to the legal compliance of our Mirakl Products and IP related matters
• Support the EMEA HR Team
• Answer other punctual requests (related in particular to our EMEA offices) & support our EMEA Marketing team
• Assure legal watch, specifically on Marketplace regulation topics

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Master's degree in Contract Law (and knowledge of Intellectual Property law)
• Previous experience as in-house legal counsel (7-8 years), previous experience in the software industry is required
• Adopt a pragmatic approach and act as a trusted advisor and a true business partner
• Experience in product development and legal compliance is valued
• High ability to understand our activity
• Resourceful, thrives in a fast-paced and metrics-driven environment
• Strong curiosity in particular, excellent communication and influential skills
• English speaker
