Our latest$555M Series E fundraising values the company over $3.5B and places it among the most dynamic players in eCommerce, globally. A leader in the Forrester New Wave, we will hire 1,700 passionate new Mirakl Workers globally over the next 3 years.

To support this rapid adoption of the marketplace model and further accelerate our growth, Mirakl is looking for a Business Controller - Sales, based in Paris.

Your missions:

  1. Finance Business Partner Sales (40%)
  • Create a trustful relationship and be the privileged Finance interlocutor of the EVPs Sales EMEA and Americas and Sales Ops teams
  • Fully understand the Sales business, their challenges, and needs
  • Support the Sales teams by providing analysis and strategic insights to increase impact on business performance
  • Monitor and analyze our Sales KPIs (Booking Value, ACV, take rates, etc.)
  • Guarantee the good application of rules related to negotiations of contracts
  • Make sure Sales objectives are aligned with Mirakl strategic vision and priorities
  • Challenge and monitor the efficiency of the Sales organization with a financial point of view
  1. Business Controlling and performance management (40%)
  • Calculate, control and challenge commissions of all Mirakl teams in close collaboration with Sales Ops, Connect, and Accounting teams
  • Contribute to the budgeting process and define macro targets
  • Calculate quarterly reforecasts based on actuals and historical data and analyze impact on P&L
  • Support monthly closing, monitor and analyze Sales costs vs budget
  1. Ad-hoc projects and tools (20%)
  • Leverage Amalia, our existing commissions’ tool, and ensure efficiency of the process and accuracy of data
  • Ensure consistency of Sales team tools
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and financial tools to support Mirakl growth

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a business school, engineering school, or University, with a specialization in Finance
  • 5-8 years of experience in Business controlling & Big 4
  • Fluency in French and English required, as well as exposure to an international environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical skills and business-oriented profile
  • Structured, organized, resourceful and rigorous person
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
