As a Key Account Manager, you will leverage your client expertise to help guide and maintain complex Enterprise clients. This will include having the ability to navigate complex ecosystems. In addition, you will leverage Meltwater’s multinational footprint to best serve our key global customers to ensure we provide the best strategic coverage.

Meltwater provides a wide range of solutions. The Key Account Manager is the cornerstone of the overall customer relationship and support in order to maintain and extend the partnership and grow the global revenue. Being first in line when it comes to developing and strengthening the commercial relationship on a global scale with strategic Key Accounts (Accounts with $500k ACV and above), you will support these accounts globally (in collaboration with local Account Executives in any region of the works) and advocate for your clients internally.

You will be working collaboratively with different team members from Growth sellers, Customer Success, Project Management, Customer Support, Product, etc to drive success among your clients and develop our existing businesses.

What You’ll Do
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing, retaining and growing a portfolio of Meltwater’s top tier clients. The Key Account Manager demonstrates a thorough understanding of Meltwater’s products and will be responsible for driving engagement and adoption through all stages of the client life cycle and renewal process.

  • Actively foster and manage the success of a portfolio of top tier assigned Meltwater clients
  • Establish a trusted relationship with each client and drive continuous value of our products and engagement & adoption
  • Be responsible for customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion of existing accounts
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to onboard new clients
  • Build and conduct executive business reviews, listening to customer feedback and discovering areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with the Growth Executive team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Negotiate and close renewal business and global agreements with c-level executives and decision makers enabling you to meet or exceed your quota
  • Own churn, retention and growth monthly targets for your specific client accounts
  • Provide customers with business analysis reporting and account plans that demonstrates a high quality of account management
  • Other Projects & Responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

Profil recherché

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Fluent in German - mandatory - Based in Paris or Berlin
  • Proven success in managing large portfolio with more than 1.5M€ of annual recurring revenue
  • Passion about the social data and knowledge of online media and social web.
  • Ability to build & maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
  • High attention to detail and a consultative, highly tailored client experience
  • Demonstrable experience meeting/exceeding sales quotas, ideally with enterprise level customers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and enthusiasm for a fast-paced, dynamic and multicultural work environment
  • Bachelor’s degree with evidence of high achievement in academics and extracurriculars
