Location: Aimargues (30 min from Montpellier)

This new position will play a pivotal role that will drive sustainability efforts for Royal Canin within the EU Region to meet the company's long-term sustainability strategy.

What we are looking for?

• Strong technical capabilities in sustainable sourcing (agronomic expertise or experience)

• Significant knowledge of the sustainability challenges within the FMCG industry, particularly related to the inbound supply chain

• Experience in Sourcing is strongly recommended, understanding the complexity and challenges related to sourcing strategies

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and motivate them to implement the strategy

• Learning agility to work on different and new topics at once

• Excellent communication skills in both French and English

What would be your responsibilities?

• Develop regional sustainable sourcing strategy aligned with the global strategy, transform this strategy into implementation plans, and lead the implementation together with the buyers and suppliers

• Be aware, input, influence where possible, and respond to current and upcoming legislation (directives, regulations) impacting sourcing

• Co-Lead the Regional Sourcing team by being a member of leadership team

• Build an internal network with commercial colleagues in the segment as well as with your peers in the other segments, and represent RC in the various internal sustainability working groups

• Build an external network with industry peers, universities, 3rd party experts and represent Royal Canin in regional external platforms and industry coalitions

• Cooperate with the central sustainability team to ensure proper calculation of the footprint to ensure transparency
