Type of contract : 18 month temporary contract

Location : RCA - Aimargues

The Demand Planner is part of the European Demand Planning team. The objective of the team is to deliver a monthly demand plan supporting the organization of the European Network, securing product availability, contracting Raw Material.

The Demand Planner constantly challenge and cross-functionally align assumption to ensure excellent short and mid-term planning (2 years horizon).

The planner will use a variety of data sources including statistical models, sales promotional data, regional and market hindsight to create an accurate forecast at SKU/Market level. The output of this demand plan is a key enabler of S&OP+ processes and supply chain decision making.

What are we looking for?

• Fluent in spoken and written English (will be in contact with English speaking markets/stakeholders)

• Knowledge of Futurmaster or Advanced Planning System

• Minimum of 3 to 10 years of relevant experience which could include supply chain, sales planning, demand planning, Finance, Master Data Management

• Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical experience using Excel, Powerpoint.

• Demonstrated experience of delivering effective presentation using qualitative and quantitative data to influence leadership decisions

• Process Management, Priority Settings, Organizational Agility, Perspective and good Communication skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Develop a reliable 24 month rolling demand plan for a set of defined markets

• Custodian of the regional planning process. Must secure on-time data submission to production, supply chain, commercial and procurement team.

• Lead monthly demand meetings with the appropriate cross functional teams to ensure assumptions are validated and unresolved issues are escalated appropriately through S&OP+ processes

• Influence key business partners by leveraging market and supply intelligence to develop best in class forecast

• Perform and Monitor demand variability, assess risks, determine root-cause, take corrective action to close gaps

• Support the good functioning of the Demand Planning Process via Futurmaster and focus on data quality

• Facilitate new product deployment plan in collaboration with global and regional teams : Activity Managers, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply & Packaging Managers

• Lead projects to enhance process efficiencies and forecast quality
