Our mission: offering you an amazing, personalized experienceinside our tech entity. A real kick-start for your career!

Didn’t imagine L’Oreal as an amazing Tech Company? Wait a minute!

L’Oréal is present in 130 countries on fivecontinents. For more than a century, L’Oréal has devoted itself solely to onebusiness: create beauty that moves the world; it is now the industryworld leader with €38 billion consolidated sales.

Today, L’Oréal includes over 2000 tech positions and it’s constantly growing. Especially with our ambition to become the #1 BeautyTech company, meaning inventing thebeauty of the future while becoming the company of the future.

To achieve this ambition, L’Oréal needs to continue recruiting many diverse, innovative, skilled and passionate minds in different tech domains such as Data, Digital, Cloud, Cyber Security, IT Architecture, DevOps, Applications, Infrastructure & UX Design.

At L’Oréal, we believe that design is all understanding problems, to find the right solution and then tell stories to motivate people into action. We use user research to listen to what people need, we then collaborate with talented people across disciplines to create solutions that make the lives of our users easier. Our goal is to make people successful, not just sell them things. So we see design as a way to pre-visualize the future and make exciting new technologies relevant and accessible to everyone.

We’re looking for someone to join our growing Design team at the Beauty Tech Accelerator of Services and help make our digital products even better. The Beauty Tech Accelerator of Services is the technology engine of the L’Oréal group’s services, aiming to enhance the Consumer Life Time Value by designing and implementing new customer experiences on a large scale. You will work at the convergence of disciplines: design, product management, data science, IT development, business and brands. We love people that are curious, collaborative, entrepreneur, eager to have an impact and who value innovation and team spirit. Sounds like a good fit? Let’s deep-dive!

YOU WILL LEARN TO:

  • Designing new features for our digital products by talking to consumers/employees (#UserResearch), running ideation workshops(#Ideation), crafting (#Prototype) and testing out your ideas to see if they work, learn and eventually iterate (#UserTestAndBackAgain).
  • Collaborating with the product management and the tech teams (IT, data science, front and back-end developers) to make sure the experience is properly implemented. This means laying down the information architecture; detailing user-flows; designing the detailed screens.
  • Measuring how well our products are working by defining data to track to understand how people use our digital products and find ways to make them even better.
  • Growing the design community by sharing resources, organizing events, and collaborating with other designers on more transversal subjects
