Joining a newly created team, your position involves to work on a variety of aspectq of payment and money. The team drives different projects around payment methods, payment platform, funds out and funds allocations.

The Money feature team's mission is to build the solutions to garantee safe transactions for the users of our website.

Context

- Tech team composed of 300+ engineers

- Agile mindset since the birth of ManoMano: Scrum and SAFe is widely applied

- 3 offices (Paris, Bordeaux and Barcelona) with up to 100% remote

- Our working language is mostly in english. We are using French as well, and some of us talks Spanish/German/Italian...

Main Responsabilities

- Understand the technical solutions, build and deliver them, respecting the sprint’s deadlines. 

- Participate in the daily activities of the team.

- Keep on growing as a Software Engineer.

- Learn backend, queuing systems, databases, financial movements, monitoring & performances using Datadog.

- Involve yourself in the MM Java community.

- Microservices in Spring Boot and Java 11 (soon 17)

- Architecture inspired from the Hexagonal and Clean Architecture

- PostgreSQL, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis

- Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

- Gitlab CI/CD

- Datadog, Sentry, Slack, Jira

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer

- Mastery of the language Java (SpringBoot) & Rest API

- Strong knowledge of PostGreSQL & MySQL databases

- A first experience with cloud technologies, AWS prefered

- An experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker or Kubernetes would be a plus

- Be lazy, automate things in order to helps us be more scalable and efficient

- Fluent in english

- Able to work in a fast changing (and not perfect) environment

- Taste for continuous improvement, with a strong desire to test, experiment and share better solutions
