Missions

1/ Declarative run

- Preparation and Declaration of VAT local declarations (French, Spanish, Italian)

- Preparation and Declaration of VAT Marketplace declaration (OSS/IOSS in FR, and HRMC UK)

- Corporate Income Tax : calculation of the taxable result through the different entities

- Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closings on both side (accounting and tax topics)

- Management of the tax annual audit 

- Ensuring that the company complies with tax laws in all countries where MM is located and globally the quality of the VAT data used in MM systems

- Preparation of the intrastat declaration (Déclaration Européenne de Services)

- Preparation and review of the annual tax return CVAE, C3S, DAS2…AGEC Law / Eco Contribution declaration

- Management of daily tax questions from business and Tech team

2/ Project run 

- Be responsible of any new tax or new compliance implementation with internal and external stakeholders 

- Perform tax deep dives on specific topics to ensure that our financial processes are compliant, accurate and efficient, specifically on VAT

- Ensure formalization of our tax processes in collaboration with Internal Control

- Analyze and monitor the tax risks, tax provisions and cash tax related to tax litigations

- Tax monitoring (focus on Marketplace) and Tax credit monitoring

- Participate to the tax audit and all relationship with the local tax authorities (droit de communication, audit trail, FEC)

- Management of the tax schedule

Skills And Background 

- Master Degree or equivalent degree in accounting and tax  (master CCA, master Tax Management or higher school diploma in business or management..)  

- Demonstrable and successful experience in senior accounting & tax positions in an international environment and ideally in a Marketplace

- Excellent knowledge of French GAAP, IFRS and Tax principles 

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in French and English 

- Curious about business flows and tech: you will be partnering closely with business and tech teams
