Manomano is Europe's largest marketplace specialising in the DIY & Home Improvement sector. We have been operating in Germany market since 2016 and have seen phenomenal sales growth over the last 5 years. ManoMano is therefore looking for a Business Developer B2B Germany. 

Within the ​Business Development team and reporting to the Lead Business Developer Germany, you will occupy a key role for ManoMano Pro's growth: the creation of seller partnerships and building the product catalog for professionals.

You will identify, select, contact and negotiate directly with existing merchants and future partner merchants, to guarantee the quality of the offer for building professionals and the respect of our promise (price, availability ...). You will then monitor their performance and ensure the commercial development of their activity to reach their full B2B sales potential.

Missions:

  • Build the professional catalog for ManoMano Pro:
  • Identify, select and recruit high potential merchants (manufacturers or distributors)
  • Benchmark their offer and analyze the relevance of their catalog according to the needs identified on the Pro ManoMano catalog
  • Contact them and negotiate the best conditions that will make the partnership a success
  • Own the creation of the partnership and overcome obstacles autonomously and with innovative solutions. 
  • Support partner merchants in the Pro catalog:
  • Support them in their integration on the platform
  • Monitor their performance and follow up on pricing
  • Set up commercial operations for our pros in partnership with merchants
  • Be the voice of our partners at the company level (sponsor internally any tech or non-tech initiatives)
  • Profile requirements:

  • Competent and business oriented leader with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business development and category management in the brand/manufacture industry.
  • Product knowledge and an appetite for the building industry are appreciated.
  • Proven success in market planning/analysis and opportunity identification.
  • Bac +5 graduated from a Business School / Engineering School (or equivalent university education).
  • Fluent German and English mandatory
  • Data Driven, people know you for your analytical capabilities and experience with Excel, SQL and other data visualisation tools are a big plus
  • Autonomous and adaptable (able to work in a constantly changing environment).
  • Curious, with a strong desire to learn.
  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise at all levels of the business
