About the role

In full expansion, Malt is looking for a person with the ambition to join the team of Key Account Managers. The goal is to develop the prospecting and sales support of key accounts while promoting the advantages of Malt.

The teams are divided into Business Units (energy, health, industry...).

Being a KAM trainee at Malt means supporting your manager in his day-to-day actions through real teamwork while becoming autonomous by developing your own customer portfolio.

At the same time, you will be able to invest yourself in internal projects thanks to your strength of proposal.

If everything goes well, you will be able to continue the Malt adventure with a permanent contract directly after your internship!

As a Key account manager, your missions will be

  • You will be required to build sales action plans for major accounts (map the challenges and current events of an account, define the key decision-makers and the associated conquest actions)
  • You will prospect for new clients using our different tools (Linkedin Sales Navigator, Salesloft and our CRM...) to obtain telephone appointments
  • You will assist in the preparation of client meetings, identifying key information about the potential client. You will define the objectives and key messages to be conveyed
  • You will participate in sales meetings to identify customer needs
  • You will participate in pre-sales and will take actions to win business (exchanges with our sourcing department to identify the best freelancers for a given need, coaching freelancers for auditions, customer exchanges)
  • Freelancers are also our clients! You will have to make sure that their missions go well, you can visit them physically with the KAM to create a link and better understand the organization and the functioning of the client for whom they are on mission
  • For clients with a large number of freelancers on assignment (more than 10), you can organize events to bring the group together with the help of the KAM
  • Our product and our processes evolve very quickly in co-construction with our customers: you will be able to propose product improvements thanks to the customer feedbacks that you will have obtained
  • You are in business school or similar and are looking for an internship for December/January
  • You already have experience in a sales department
  • You are very proactive, organized and responsible, you know how to work in total autonomy
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish quality relationships with your contacts: clients and freelancers
  • A good level of English is essential to be able to communicate with an international team
  • First call with Elisa (our Campus Manager), to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (15 minutes)
  • Interview with your future manager, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60 minutes)
  • Home assignment to prepare in order to evaluate your hard skills
  • Your profile is validated, and will welcome you in our Parisian office in January !
  • ☎️ Proposal within 48h
