About the role

As People Operations Specialist you will be the primary point of contact for all HR administration matters with Malters. You will work from Paris, with French and Spanish populations. You will help increase efficiency and responsiveness in HR operations. We are looking for a passionate individual who values teamwork, employee satisfaction and experience and process optimization.

As People Operations Specialist, your missions will be

  • Provide a best in class HR service for managers and employees
  • Support the onboarding process ensuring new Malters have everything they need for a smooth first day (contract, benefits enrolment, payroll, legal declarations …)
  • Support international moves
  • Ensure all the touch points of the employee lifecycle are managed efficiently with a human touch -  from hire to retire
  • Ensure compliance with the local labour regulations and that policies and procedures are updated as needed
  • Manage payroll with external providers in France and Spain
  • Support HRBPs on local adhoc requests
  • Keep our HRIS (BambooHR) up to date, ensuring data accuracy
  • Monitor and maintain HR dashboards and other reports
  • Follow up and up to date employee file (contracts, trial period follow-up..)
  • Day-to-day management of HR-related questions and tickets (Jira HR)
  • Manage learning and development requests and relationships with training organizations
  • Preferred experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role in an Human Resources/People Operations team
  • Fluent in French and in Spanish
  • Good knowledge of labor laws, any international experience ones (Spain, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands) would be a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Determined to make employee and manager experience easy & smooth
  • Reliable, humble, self-aware & culture champion 
  • Any experience in HR/tools/softwares (ideally, Silae, BambooHR, Workday, Jira) and outsourced payroll coordination would be considered a big advantage
  • Our recruitment process

  • Screening with Elisa, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (30-45 minutes)
  • Interview with your future manager, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60 minutes)
  • Home assignment to prepare and present in order to evaluate your hard skills
  • Final interview with a C-Level to discuss Malt’s long term vision
