The Business Operations team plays a central role in Malt's plan to accelerate our growth efficiently. In short, helping the company achieve 100% to 200% annual growth with 50% more resources thanks to the creation and optimization of processes & tools along with strong performance analysis.

The Business Operations Manager goal is to make business units more efficient and accelerate the business by defining and leading key projects with business leaders to help them scale.

His/her responsibilities will include defining strategic priorities with business leaders, building and improving processes and tools, conducting performance analysis, finding levers to achieve their objectives and solutions to the problems encountered. 

At Malt, we have 2 clients: Freelancers and Corporate clients. To enable optimal matchmaking between both, a team of Recruitment Consultant has been built. It scaled fast: from 5 to 30 people in 2 years.

To support the exponential growth of this team, we are recruiting a Business Operations manager to support the Head of Sourcing France to scale his department.

He/she will report to the Head of Business Operations.

Your missions:

Work with Malt’s leaders to scale the Sourcing Department in France

Define strategic priorities for the department and set ambitious targets

Be the daily partner of the department’s leaders

Build a “reporting machine” to monitor the performance of the team along several dimensions (e.g., revenue, client experience, freelance experience…)

Help the team focus on their core missions by smoothing tools and processes

Identify best practices within the team, and ensure their larger adoption

Support the construction of new processes and ensure their adoption with other teams (e.g., sales team, community team) to enable higher performance of the sourcing team

Identify tools improvement, support their development and ensure their adoption

Investigate new models to enable a step change in team’s performance

Lead strategic analysis on key topics to support business decisions (e.g., targeted productivity per Recruitment Consultant, differentiated approach per job category)

Investigate solution areas to enable Recruitment Consultants to play a more important role along the opportunity management value chain (e.g., farming mature client users, generating cross-sell…)

Lead and support projects to continuously improve performance (e.g., investigate automation models on selected parts of the value chain)

About You :

3 to 6 years experience in operations/consulting/startup environment

Proven ability to manage complex projects and analysis

Strong analytical skills (Excel + ability to learn SQL basis)

Autonomous: ability to prioritize requests to respect tight deadline

Not only analytical, you are also hands-on: search technical solution yourself, and build tools and processes

Problem solving, well-organized and solution-oriented

Hands-on, likes to build tools and processes and follow-up their adoption by business teams.

Fluent in English.

- Screening of 45 min with Hamza, Talent Acquisition Manager, by Zoom on your current situation + your understanding of Malt and the job position.

- Round 1 with Marc, Head of Business Operations, to go more into details about your background and technical skills

- Round 2 is a Study Case, to be presented to Marc and someone else from the team.

- Final interview with Sabine, VP Operations.

- Job offer to join Malt within 48 hours.
