We just raised a €6M pre-seed round with leading European VCs (Frst, GFC) and 50+ Business Angels (CEOs of Front, WTTJ, PeopleDoc, etc.), we have very ambitious goals and are constantly looking to bring amazing people onboard.

👪 About the Go-To-Market team

You will be joining our VP Sales Maxime, our Lead Growth Louis, our BDR Manager Thibault, our team of AE Margot & Jérémy
our Head of Brand & Content Léa, our Customer success team and have the chance to collaborate with everyone at Maki.

💪 About your mission

Sales

  • Engage Canadian companies via outbound prospecting and a variety of channels (email, call, LinkedIn)
  • Educate contacts about how Maki will help them build a cutting-edge employee brand with a superior candidate experience
  • Qualify prospects and create opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline

Sales Ops

  • Participate in pipeline and account reviews
  • Collaborate in our continuous sales process improvements, by providing feedback on a daily basis to continue to grow the organisation
  • Identify and refine KPIs & ICPs
  • Maintain Hubspot, our CRM, up to date with accurate prospect data
  • Work closely with the other teams (Brand & Content, Growth) to continually develop a robust Go-To-Market strategy
  • Co-develop sales resources and trainings for your peers

Eventually as one of the early employee of Maki, you’ll be be able to shape the future of your team. We share as much ownership on the way we work and on the product itself as we can as we’re convinced our success is 99% due to our team.


Profil recherché

Required background 🤹

  • You have 1 or 2+ years of experience as a BDR
  • You are ambitious, Maki is growing fast and we expect you to grow along us
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, have a proactive attitude, enjoy autonomy and act as an owner
  • You love people and have great communication skills - active listener, empathetic, extremely clear, direct, timely, and accurate
  • You are an English & French speaker (you’ll be emailing, calling, meeting with Canada-located prospects)

Preferred background 💘

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, within a fast-growing startup or scale-up
  • Experience doing outbound tactics and prioritising efforts
  • Experience dealing with Enterprise accounts
  • Experience with our sales stack (Hubspot, Leadjet, Modjo)

Déroulement des entretiens

We want to offer the best candidate experience possible by letting everyone apply, ensuring that the process lasts ~3 weeks from the moment you get invited to the first step.

We provide feedback at each round to every candidate, either through our product or with a call from the hiring manager.

  • Step 1: A short assessment on Maki (~30mins) 📂

    This is the occasion for you to discover our product more in-depth and demonstrate your fit, skills & motivation (~45mins)

  • Step 2: A deeper exploration of who you are (2x 45mins) 👀

    If we believe you may be a good match, we’ll arrange two 45mins structured conversations with 2 members of the team to cover

  • Your experience

  • Your soft skills

  • Your questions

  • Whenever: 2-3 informal meetups

    Through the whole process, we will additionally let you schedule a couple 30-minute informal meetings with a few employees. These meetings (online or IRL) will be a chance for you to familiarise yourself with our team, our motivations, and ask questions!

  • Step 3: A case study 📑 *(optional)*

    Case studies may be required for some positions or situations.

  • Step 4: Your offer 💌

    If we have a match, our founders will send an offer asap.

  • Step 5: Your onboarding 🧑‍🚀
