HR Manager EMEA JAPAC F/M

Based either in Paris or Lyon

* The team *

LumApps is seeking a Human Resources Manager EMEA-JAPAC to join our team based in France (Paris & Lyon). EMEA-Japac is currently France, UK, Germany, Spain, Japan. 

This is a great opportunity for an innovative problem-solver who is passionate about people and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment. 

Reporting to our VP People, you will join the People Team of 11 people (3 Talent Acquisition Specialist + 1 Manager, 3 People Business Partner, 1 HR Manager NORAM, 2 People Ops). 

* Missions *

  • Manage a team of high-performing individuals across a range of functions (2 People Operations and 2 People Business Partner) and expand the team if needed to meet the growing needs of a scaling and highly successful company;
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the team;
  • Provide expertise in the following areas:
    • Career Planning
    • In collaboration with the HR Manager NORAM, set and drive the performance review process and provide managers with constant support
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Learning and Development
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure a smooth transition post-onboarding through the entire employee lifecycle;
  • Support the company’s culture and engagement goals through identification of issues, facilitation of planning solutions, and reporting progress;
  • Prepare Works Council meeting materials and agenda where required as well as attend the meeting;
  • Support the People Business Partner on disciplinary measures and termination of employees in accordance with company policy;
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance;
  • Collaborate with the global HR Team on projects and programs that focus on engagement, culture, policy, and process development;
  • Nurture a positive working environment;
  • Report to management and provide support, using HR metrics.

* Skills * 

  • You have more than 8 years of experience in Human Resources Management;
  • You hold a strong background in French labour law as applied to Human Resources;
  • You have a strong experience in benefits administration, payroll administration, and HRIS administration;
  • You are fluent in both French and English; You feel comfortable working in an international environment;
  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • You show impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong supervisory and leadership skills. 
  • You have the ability to prioritize/re-prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced and constantly shifting work environment;
  • You have a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to successfully implement and maintain HR programs;
  • You're eager to roll up your sleeves to help drive LumApps’ exponential growth.
