As part of the Growth Team, you will join the Website Squad and work on building the best website possible using the latest technologies and without compromise on the code legacy.

At Livestorm, we consider the website like a product of its own. So we aim to adhere to the same quality standards, and follow the same processes as we do for the Livestorm app.

As such, we are looking for a Lead Front-End Engineer to be the owner of the code quality, as well as manage the Growth Engineer and provide code reviews on a regular basis.

Our stack is: Nuxt.js and Vue.js, GraphQL, Netlify, with extensive API calls to DatoCMS.

Missions:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Building new website pages, pushing the boundaries in design, animations, and overall state-of-the-art static websites standards
• Improving, testing and optimizing the existing Livestorm website
• Enforcing high standard for technical choices regarding: tracking, SEO and technologies
• Managing and providing code reviews for the Growth Engineer when working on the website
• Working closely with the Product Manager, Engineers, and Designers on the website squad
• Actively participating in code reviews, technology / library selection discussions, and technical design discussions together with your engineering teammates

For this Lead Front-End Engineer - Website role, we are looking for someone with the following experience:

• At least 4+ years of experience in Front-End Development
• At least 2+ years of experience with Vue.js and its environment (nuxt.js, vuex, vue-router, etc.)
• Some management experience, and willingness to manage an Engineer
• You have experience with GraphQL.
• You are very rigorous about testing and code quality (unit tests and E2E).
• Sensibility for UI and UX
• You like sharing your ideas and are open-minded.
  Moreover, we are looking for someone who can work in the Paris timezone (we accept a jet-lag of 2 hours maximum).
