Le Wagon for Business is our branch dedicated to corporate training. Launched 2 years ago to help organisations in their digital transformation by teaching their teams actionable tech skills, Le Wagon for Business has developed a variety of training solutions, from short courses to longer immersive bootcamps. All these courses are delivered either on campus or in remote (“live online”) by more than 1000 freelance instructors on a proprietary platform developed by Le Wagon’s tech team. Our courses cover the most in-demand topics including data science, data analytics, software development, and UX design.

More than 50 global organisations have already trusted Le Wagon for Business to teach tech skills to their teams including Ikea, Engie, Société Générale, Decathlon, HEC Paris, Nova Business School or LVMH. Your Objective

Le Wagon for Business is now looking for an outstanding professional with a proven experience in corporate sales, to join as Senior Business Developer at Le Wagon for Business.

You will be instrumental in accelerating Le Wagon for Business’ revenues. You will participate in re-shaping the overall corporate sales approach, prioritizing customer segments, and defining the best-adapted sales pitch. You will lead the sales efforts on priority segments, recruiting new clients and building strong relationships with their C-suite, in order to close large and often long-term deals.

Organisation

You will directly report to the VP of le Wagon for Business, and will join a great dedicated team of sales, customer success, marketing and content managers.

This role is based in Paris. When the team is not working from home (because of the current health situation), you’ll work out of our Paris office with the rest of the Le Wagon for Business team. Easily accessible by all forms of public transportation.

Your Responsibilities

As Senior Business Developer for Le Wagon for Business, you will:

  • Define the overall sales approach for Le Wagon for Business, in close collaboration with the dedicated marketing & sales teams, in order to prioritize business segments and build the best-adapted sales pitch
  • Lead the sales efforts on priority customer segments, by defining and executing the key accounts strategy with the content and customer success teams.
  • Recruit new corporates and grow the business with existing clients, through negotiating and managing entire complex sales cycles (critical tender offers or business partnerships)
  • Ensure long-term customer satisfaction, by building deep relationships at all levels of the organizations, and position as a partner of their digital transformation.
  • Work with the product team based on customer feedback. Ensure new features or curriculums launches are successfully communicated
  • Develop case studies of successful programs in order to share insights with customers and to serve as an advocate at events and conferences
  • Work with the B2B marketing team and alumni network team to define the best marketing approach (events, conferences…)

Profil recherché

Desired skills & experience

Minimum skills & experience:

  • 10+ years experience in direct client sales/management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and French
  • Ability to build clear, concise presentations
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Desire to learn in a dynamic startup environment, excited about making a long-term commitment and contribution to Le Wagon

Preferred skills & experience:

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:

  • Significant experience in corporate trainings sales
  • Demonstrated success with large complex commercial negotiations working with procurement and business teams.
  • Excellent at defining a sales approach, and defining key account strategy
  • Experience in building trust relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work with other teams, especially marketing and product teams

Déroulement des entretiens

  • Round 1: 2 interviews, with the VP of Le Wagon Business and with a team member
  • Round 2: interview with a Le Wagon team lead
  • Round 3: interview with the founders (CEO & COO)
