The Chief Technology Officer is an exciting new role in L’olivier Assurance, accountable for technical KPIs, and leading end-to-end technologie workflows of the entire business, such as technology innovation, architecture and engineering excellence, optimisation of DevOps, and IT administration.

You’ll be the cornerstone between business goals, technology possibilities and customer success; shape, plan and deliver technical change, own service management KPIs and cost, and help achieve ambitious commercial outcomes.

You’ll be backing the agile / DevOps teams and nurture a culture of continuous improvement.

Teams are spread across Sevilla, Roma, Paris and Lille.

You’ll be responsible for :

  • Helping shape, plan and deliver key strategic IT projects
  • Collaborating with Admiral International on security, compliance, service management, business continuity plan and shared services
  • Leading the modernisation – upgrade, acquire, refactor or rebuild – of legacy systems to better support rapid growth
  • Identifying and providing data, KPIs and dashboards that the business needs to make better informed decisions and IT critical trade-offs.
  • Upskilling and mentoring the engineering competency areas
  • Managing and optimising technical performance and cost
  • Oversee productivity and quality of team artefacts, outcomes, and achievement of KPIs
  • Leveraging cloud services for improved technical performance, scalability, cost efficiencies, etc.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing and Ops leaders and teams to ensure we fulfil the promised customer experience end-to-end [as complexity and interdependencies increase]

Profil recherché

If, in addition to all this, you :

  • Has technically led a multi-channel eCommerce business through a scaling phase
  • At ease with DevOps concepts [skills, practices, and tooling]
  • Familiar with transforming a legacy system to become modular / flexible and scalable
  • Experienced in content management systems, high volume transactional Websites, call / contact centre, DevOps and CI/CD, micro-services, cloud infrastructure and services, modern ITSM
  • Driven by business data and analytics to make higher quality decisions
  • Equipped with a growth mindset and a strong desire to learn
  • Comfortable with the ambiguity of agile teams moving fast and responding to change

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has leadership experience in technology and engineering
  • Is familiar with modern agile, lean and DevOps working methods.
  • Has a Qualification - Degree in an IT related field
  • Engineering - Product and web application engineering
  • Architecture - IT enterprise architecture framework, approach and artefacts.
  • Core Systems - Modernization and migration of enterprise applications.
  • Innovation - Testing and validating the feasibility of growth ideas.
  • Touchpoints - Multi-channel customer journeys across the web, applications, telephony, communications, etc.
  • Working with data - You will be doing a lot of data analysis and calculations to determine the effectiveness and direction of our work, so having a head for numbers is excellent.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Can effectively manage stakeholder interests in a complex organisational structure

Déroulement des entretiens

You will have an initial discussion with our Talent Acquisition.
You will have a maximum of 3 interviews allowing you to meet the Digital and Innovation Director, one or more of your counterparts and your future manager, our CEO.

PS: we work in a simple and friendly atmosphere, tie and suit are not necessary 😉
