As part of this job role, the Sporting Coordinator will be required to help with the preparation and management of FIA WEC events alongside the Sporting Manager. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to travel overseas as part of his/her role. The main responsibilities of the job are listed below.

Support Series Management – become their main contact

  • Identify and engage discussions with potential support series

  • Negotiate and formalize collaboration agreements

  • Maintain good commercial relationships and retain support series for future

  • Understand and follow up on support series requirements and operational needs

  • Deliver the event in accordance with contractual commitments

  • Manage and follow up on support series budgets and invoicing

Sporting Event Preparation – support the Sporting Manager in the sporting preparation of each event

  • Prepare the Team Packet Information gathering all relevant key information for FIA WEC competitors, for the season and for each event

  • Ensure the follow-up of our online platforms (ECM Evo, Team Area, ACO Tech Online)

  • Become the main contact for our sporting suppliers (Marelli, RFID, safety car supplier)

  • Prepare before each event and manage on-site sporting topics (such as marshals’ tabards, operational staff wristbands, hoisting and extrication exercises, Area 51, fuel cards)

  • Supervise the on-site delivery of sporting equipment (e-safety equipment, sporting boards, extrication helmets and HANS, pit-in & pit-out signage) and facilities (stewards room, RC seating map, briefing room)

  • Support on the groundwork for sporting documents (Area51 map, key facts, etc)

  • Manage procedures for commercial activities (Hot Laps, Lap of Honor, Parade Laps, etc.)

  • Support in the preparation of the 24 Hours of Le Mans


Profil recherché

  • A minimum of 2/3 years’ experience in events organization

  • Ability to integrate and adapt within a team

  • Well organized with high attention to detail

  • Knowledge in motorsports is definitely an advantage

  • Must be fluent in English

  • A lively and dynamic individual with the ability to take the initiative

  • Diligent at work
