As a Kyriba ServiceNow Administrator and Developer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, design and implementation of ServiceNow’s ITSM solutions mostly for Kyriba Client Support organization, with some extensions for the Client Experience team. This role will work with and for the Client Support leadership team, who is the process owner and main consumer of ServiceNow implementation at Kyriba. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take lead to implement new procedures and improvements due to business changes, operational requirements, strategic initiatives

  • Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with stakeholders and team members

  • Identify areas of process and implementation improvement to leverage best practices and best ITSM and users experience

  • Delivering solutions using Agile software development processes

  • Provide insight and recommendations on best practices for configuration: administration  and maintenance the current ITSM implementation of ServiceNow at Kyriba:

  • Users administration

  • Check the correct performance of the ServiceNow intense: slow jobs

  • Coordinate, Schedule and Complete one Annual Platform Upgrade

  • Coordinate, Schedule and Complete Patches and System Updates as required by ServiceNow

  • Review ServiceNow release notes, analyze the impacts and provide a test plan for the QA group to execute.

  • Review new functionality against desired/planned changes (i.e., does a new feature address a future enhancement request or a current deviation from out-of-box functionality).

  • Fixing minor issues or minor changes required because of the upgrade or patch.

  • Opening an Incident with ServiceNow and work to resolution if system degradation is detected

  • Build, develop and implement customisation or development of enhancement requests for existing ITSM tools and processes

  • Creating and/or maintaining Service Catalog items, some of which require complex catalog development experience and knowledge.

  • Creating and or maintaining components such as Server-side scripts, ACLS, Business Rules, UI Actions, UI Policies, AJAX using languages such as Javascript, Angular and Python.

    Education, Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ ServiceNow development experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with JavaScript

  • Certified ServiceNow administrator and Developer 

  • Well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.

  • Experience of ServiceNow web services and APIs, expertise in JavaScript, with working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO , and Workflow Configuration

  • Knowledge of web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3) and working knowledge of relational databases

  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc)

  • Exposure to the follow key modules in ServiceNow is required: Incident/Problem/Change, CMDB, Discovery, Knowledge and Service (Request) Catalog
