❓Purpose of the Job

Support the sales team on various missions and contribute to the growth of Karmen

🎯Main missions

As Sales / Business Developer intern, you will be in the front row of an excitingly accelerating fintech. This role is at the heart of our business strategy.

You main missions will be:

  • Identify companies that may be relevant customers for Karmen and get in touch with them to turn them into clients

  • Prepare presentation materials for leads

  • Own the full Sales Cycle: first call, demos, follow-up, closing

  • Take part to events with the Sales Team and promote Karmen everywhere you go

  • Report on your results and follow up on your objectives in conjunction with your manager

☀️ Your Manager

You will work daily with Louis Lacroix, Head of Sales since April 2022. He is in charge to promote Karmen’s financing offer to our target audience: digital and high growth companies. He also supports Karmen’s clients in their development and growth.

Louis previously worked at Payfit (one of the French unicorns) as a SDR Manager for more than 3 years. During this experience, he became familiar with the startup and SaaS ecosystems and mastered his sales and managements skills

In April 2022, he joined Karmen to build the Sales Team, whose mission will be to reinvent B2B credit granting and offer entrepreneurs a new financing option: simple, fast and non-dilutive.

You will work with Louis, Head of Sales and Baptiste, COO & Co founder.

You will also work with the Sales and Credit and marketing teams! You will have daily contact with our prospects and clients.


Profil recherché

⚡️ Profile

  • You are currently in a business school or studying business (4+ years)

  • You have already had a first experience in sales / business development

  • Fluency in English (oral and written) & French (C1)

  • You have good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills (french and english)

  • Mastery of Google Tools, CRM (Hubspot)

  • You are confident, motivated, and fearless when it comes to hunting for a sale

  • You are organized, versatile and responsive

  • You are attracted by start-ups and the e-commerce environment

  • Thirsty to learn and willing to get their hands dirty

Déroulement des entretiens

  1. A 45’ visio (or IRL) with Louis, Head of Sales, to discuss about your project and your skills ;

  2. A case study (sales simulation) of 15’ and a de-briefing by Louis

  3. A 30’ visio with Baptiste, Co-founder and COO, to discuss about the position, the team and your skills ;

The recruitment process will last approximately for 1 to 2 weeks.
