Our loyal users absolutely adore us, as we seemed to have cracked the code for building a service people love! Our intuitive platform allows customers to choose from a variety of delicious, personalized recipes and have the ingredients delivered directly to their door. Accompanying recipe video tutorials make the process so easy and enjoyable, that our customers can’t wait to start cooking! Since our launch in 2017, we’ve grown extremely fast in France, achieving overwhelming success.

To help us succeed in our mission, we’re looking for a true marketing and communications mastermind. As our Head of Marketing and Communications, you will have a chance to join this company early and shape its success.

We hope you have strong experience developing company messaging and targeting unique audiences with different messaging, vast experience conducting media relations and securing press and blog coverage, as well as a mastery of writing and communicating at a brand level. To support our strong focus on team culture within the company, it is equally important that you be an inspiring team leader and manager. Your role:

  • Take the lead to define and develop a brand and data-driven communications strategy, which covers media relations, influencer outreach, creative content and campaigns, social, and events, in collaboration with our Growth, CRM and studio teams.

  • Create compelling storytelling, crazy good messaging, copywriting and content

  • Put your brilliant strategy into practice to consistently grow the business and build brand equity. Implement a comprehensive communications strategy across all channels and audiences, ensuring cohesion across the board.

  • Keep us up to date regarding the progress and success of the communications strategy, using analytics and reporting.

  • Use knowledge gained from market research to help the executive team navigate business decisions regarding communications and brand.


Profil recherché

We are looking for someone who will not only strategize but execute on their ideas. The implementation of the communications strategy is a hands-on mission and you need to be willing to roll up your sleeves to help with daily tasks, rather than simply overseeing the project or hiring agencies. You could be a great fit for this role if:

  • You have several years’ experience working in a communications and marketing department, a creative agency, or, ideally, in a fast-growing start-up, where your focus was on scaling the business.

  • You have a background in strategic planning and/or copywriting

  • You have built and launched successful global communications campaigns for consumer businesses.

  • Ideally, you are familiar with the FoodTech or Retail industries.

  • You have deep knowledge in running a creative campaigns, from strategy development to tactical execution, including digital, social, and print, focused on ROI.

  • You love doing things yourself, and get energy from finding efficient ways to get things done. You’re creative in your problem solving and methods, and love coming up with the smartest catch phrase or most powerful creative idea.

  • You know the journalists in France and / or have ideas for meeting them and developing mutually beneficial relationships with them.

  • You enjoy a collaborative environment and, as a leader, you engage with and listen to your team members to ensure alignment on project strategy and goals in order to achieve the best results.

  • Call: to know about each other and check if the stars are aligned
  • 1st interview
  • Lunch with the team: we want you to be happy to see our teamates every morning, so one of the very first thing we check is the cultural fit. We have a “no brilliant jerk” rule. Being nice, cool and humble is as mandatory as being good at what you do ;-)
  • 2 to 3 more formal/classic interviews with the team
