Jolimoi is a multi-brand social sales platform based on a community of people that all share a passion for beauty. Our mission is to help everybody to find their true beauty and the products that fit with it. We use peer-to-peer selling and innovative technologies to empower customers, create more transparency, and provide them with a human and personalized experience. We are building a network of independent Beauty Stylists that provides customized advice to our customers using a platform built for their needs. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a Data Engineer.

Our independents Beauty Stylists are entrepreneurs and to achieve their tager, they deserve professional visualisation tools. We’d like to build them a better way of tracking their performance on several levels (social network, sells) which will improve their daily work, same for the brands we are working.

To reach that goal, you will work on defining the architecture of the central data management system ( conceptualizing, visualizing, building) from scratch from internal and external sources of data and also work on the final product around data vizualisation for both our Beauty Stylists and our 50 brands.

You will join a team of 10 people and will have the possibility to have a big impact in our products, our processes and our stack.

You will have to :
Work on an interdisciplinary team of engineers, designers and product owners.
Participate in the choices of the visualization frameworks and tools.
Propose global front architecture
Made proposals to optimized every front we have (assets, css …)
Test your code and participate in code review
Help to define the key data for both stylists and brands
Transform large and complex data sets into beautiful visualisations

Passionate about building user-friendly web applications
Experience on designing products that guide users in making decisions by synthesising insights from complex datasets
Able to work in English-speaking environment
At least 2 years of experience

A plus :
Can participate to the development phase, supporting by the development team
Already work on large datasets
Can also work on the back-end
Python, Spark

Salary according to skills (from intermediate level to lead level). Job in partial remote working with a good package (Swile, Alan, Teambuilding) in a startup that is growing fast. Start date could be before october.
