Job description

The mission of the Site Director is to manage the Val de Reuil Campus (France) He/she provides guidance on the manufacturing activities based on the strategy defined EAME as well as on the other Site activities in terms of social aspect EHS&S, J&J image, and WW processes. He/she provides guidance on legal aspects and as General Manager he/she is responsible for the application of the French Law.

Activities and Responsibilities

• Participates in Val de Reuil strategy definition in accordance with the EAME MAKE strategies for the Consumer Business

• Applies and ensures application of the VDR goals & objectives, namely:

  • Excellence in customer service, supply chain
  • Excellence in Quality & Compliance, including EHS&S
  • Competitiveness of manufacturing costs
  •  Inventory reduction
  • People competencies and development
  • Process excellence and innovation
  • Provides Site activities coordination regarding social & EHS&S aspects and in respect of Our Credo

• Has responsibility for manufacturing results and the reporting scorecard

• Manages, coaches, evaluates, and develops the manufacturing team

• Deploys the objectives on the manufacturing activity.

• Creates an environment of partnership and relationships.

• Reinforces and maintains a close relationship with the marketing companies’ presidents of Johnson & Johnson in France to manage the country related aspects and the J&J image in France.

Compliance Responsibilities Quality:

• Place quality and compliance to GMPs (BPF, BPD and GMP) as well as the guidelines and procedures at the heart of the site strategy and objectives

• Be a role model on quality

• Be the owner, together with the QP and the quality department, of this engagement through:

  • The deployment of the quality policy and goals & objectives
  • The cascading of quality responsibilities through the different levels of the organization
  • The provision for adequate resources to sustain and improve the quality system
  • The evaluation of quality aspects in all decision making
  • The monitoring of the quality performance and the implementation of corrective/preventive actions

Security Safety Environment:

  • Place EHS&S at the heart of the site strategy and objectives
  • Apply the professional codes of conduct as regards hygiene & safety at work and the environmental policy in force in the establishment, in accordance with the French regulations and policies of Johnson & Johnson

Be the owner, together with the EHS&S department, of this engagement through:

  • The deployment of the EHS&S policy and goals & objectives
  • The cascading of the EHS&S responsibilities through the different levels of the organization
  • The provision of adequate resources to sustain and improve the EHS&S system
  • The evaluation of EHS&S aspects in all decision making
  • The monitoring of the EHS&S performance and the implementation of corrective/preventive actions Business Policy
  • To respect the Johnson & Johnson professional policy and ensure its respect through the organization

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the Business
  • Knowledge of cGMP's and regulations
  • EHS&S policies & guidelines
  • Key internal procedures {included EHS&S and cGMP)
  • Degree Qualification Engineer or Pharmacist or bachelor’s degree In finance &/or accounting with at least 10 to 15 years industrial experience.
